The City of Austin loves its entrepreneurs. In Austin, the entrepreneurial spirit is strong and professional organizations and networking groups focused on helping entrepreneurs succeed are plentiful. RISE, a non-profit program dedicated to inspiring and empowering entrepreneurs, does a great job at providing resources for entrepreneurs, and we’re excited to be a part of their RISE Week this year.
Austin RISE Week, March 7-11, 2011, presents interactive learning sessions, inspiring keynotes, unique competitions, funding opportunities and networking events. RISE sessions are free and open to anyone but are capped at 25 entrepreneurs per session.
Our session “Working Capital Finance” will be presented Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 10-11:30 a.m. at New Horizons (300 Highland Mall Blvd. Suite 300, Austin, TX 78752). An entrepreneur’s number one challenge is cash, and we’ll be discussing different alternatives for new ventures or growing companies to bridge the gap between their income statement and their bank account.
